Civil engineering technician
TASK OVERVIEW
- Participate in the preparation of budget estimates for construction costs;
- Participate in the design and production of plans and specifications;
- Perform computer-aided drafting (CAD) in compliance with internal drafting standards;
- Participate in problem-solving and provide the technical support required for successful project completion;
- Carry out site supervision and management: ensure compliance of work with plans and specifications, review and annotate shop drawings, participate in site meetings, draft daily supervision reports and site directives, measure quantities of work completed and prepare progress reports, assist in coordinating the completion of unforeseen and additional work, carry out inspections;
- Perform other related tasks.
Required skills
- Civil engineering technician;
- Training in worksite safety (ASP card);
- Demonstrate excellent French language skills (oral and written);
- Have a valid driver’s license and a car;
- Good knowledge of Office, Word, Excel and Autocad.
