Parallèle 54 is looking for a Vice President, Finance to manage the company’s accounting and finance department.

Under the authority of the President – General Manager, the Vice President, Finance, organizes, directs and controls all activities related to the planning and management of financial and material resources and manages the personnel under his or her responsibility. Through rigorous planning, analysis and control practices, the Vice-President, Finance provides the Board of Directors with the strategic information necessary to make decisions and ensures the financial sustainability and viability of Parallèle 54 Expert Conseil. He/she is responsible for the contractual management and bookkeeping of the company in accordance with the standards and policies in effect.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise the accounting team in place
  • Perform month-end procedures (entries and reports)
  • Design, implement and administer the company’s accounting systems and financial policies
  • Perform year-end processing
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Produce financial statements and other financial data and analyze them for trends, variances and recommendations
  • Supervise and follow up on accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure the management of financial performance
  • Model performance indicators and ensure their proper communication and understanding
  • Create, build and follow up on various financial reports related to the company’s current activities
  • Participate in the decision-making process for investment and capital projects
Technical skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, Sage Accounting, Jovaco;
    Have a valid driver’s license and a car.
Required training or certification
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting;
    Be a member of the CPA order;

  • Accounting: 10 years (Mandatory)
  • Management: 5 years (Required)
